What do high performers in any field have in common: Hmmm, many things such as boring and/or hard daily habits that bring them closer to their vision, but that is a chat for another day. Today I want to talk about visualization:
You hear it from athletes, entrepreneurs, entertainers. Some athletes and entrepreneurs even set aside time in their training schedule ( for some, up to 2 hours a day) for visualization.
We hear that and say: “Oh, that is so inspiring, that is awesome. ” AND THEN, we put Netflix on and don`t spend enough minutes in the day or even in the week or even in the month to think:
Do I have a vision for my life? What is my Dream Big, aspirational vision?
If we don`t have that, we drift through life with minimum effort and friction and when we see or hear inspirational success stories, we say: ” that is amazing, but I can never do that because…. It will not work for me because….”
Human potential is limitless ( ok, nearly limitless). We stay in our lane and never challenge our limiting beliefs on what we can and cannot achieve.
Today, I say we all spend 10 min to visualize what we want for our lives! From there, figuring out how to get there is the easier part.
